Tips

Use Quality Ingredients: Make sure to use high quality ingredients such as cheese, pasta and meat. All these act to enhance the taste of the lasagna.

Cook the Noodles Al Dente: Do not boil the lasagna noodles too long or they become soft. Firmness is needed for maintaining structure.

Layer Well: Begin with a bottom layer of the sauce, then alternate layers of meat, cheese, noodles and sauce. This will allow them to cook evenly and with flavour.

Don’t Overdo the Sauce: Enough sauce must be used to keep the dish moist without making it drippy-watery.

When sauces pour through the layers, it becomes challenging to keep them together.

Let It Sit: After the baking process, allow the lasagna to sit for about 15 to 20 minutes before you start slicing. This will allow the layers to be set properly, therefore making serving much easier.

Variations
