A burger bowl is similar to a burger without a bun. It contains all classic ingredients such as tomatoes, lettuce, seasoned beef or a meat substitute, cheese, pickles or sauces.

Ingredients
  

  • For the Burger:
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • For the Toppings:
  • 2 cups mixed greens romaine, spinach, etc.
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 cup cucumber diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite
  • 1/2 cup pickles sliced
  • 1/4 cup red onion thinly sliced
  • 1 avocado sliced (optional)
  • For the Dressing:
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a pan, cook the ground beef over medim flame. Add onion powder, garlic powder, salt, smoked paprika and pepper. COok until thoroughly cooked and brown, it may take around 7-10 minutes. Drain the excess fat.
  • In bowls, add a layers of mixed greens.
  • Layer on the cooked beef, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, pickles, shredded cheese, avocado and red onion.
  • In a little-sized bowl, mix the ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, salt and pepper. Youc an adjust your seasoning to your taste.
  • You can pour the dressing on top of the bowls and serve immediately.
