Ingredients
  

  • 1 box 15.25 oz funfetti cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sprinkles plus extra for topping
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips optional

Instructions
 

  • Set the temperature of the oven to 175 C (350 F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the egg, softened butter and vanilla xtact until thoroughly combined.
  • Slowly, add the funfetti cake mix to the wet ingredients and mix just combined. sAvoid overmixing.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips or sprinkles and distribute them evenly throughout the dough.
  • Use a tablespoon or a cookie spoon to put the rounded balls of dough on a baking sheet, leaving around 2 inch gap between each.
  • Press a few sprinkle on top of each for more fun and bright flavour.
  • Put them in the oven until the edges are golden and centers are soft, it may take around 10-12 minutes.
  • Before transferring them to a wire rack, let them cool completely on the baking sheet for around 5 minutes.
  • It's time to serve the funfetti cake cookies.
