Set the temperature of the oven to 175 C (350 F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream together the egg, softened butter and vanilla xtact until thoroughly combined.
Slowly, add the funfetti cake mix to the wet ingredients and mix just combined. sAvoid overmixing.
Fold in the chocolate chips or sprinkles and distribute them evenly throughout the dough.
Use a tablespoon or a cookie spoon to put the rounded balls of dough on a baking sheet, leaving around 2 inch gap between each.
Press a few sprinkle on top of each for more fun and bright flavour.
Put them in the oven until the edges are golden and centers are soft, it may take around 10-12 minutes.
Before transferring them to a wire rack, let them cool completely on the baking sheet for around 5 minutes.
