Lemon Dump Cake Recipe
A lemon dump cake is a simple dessert that you can prepare with some basic ingredientssuch as lemon pie filling, lemon cake mix and butter.
Ingredients
- 1 box about 15.25 ounces lemon cake mix
- 1 can about 21 ounces lemon pie filling
- 1/2 cup 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
- Optional: Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- First of all, set the temperature of the oven to 350 F (175 C). Grease a baking dish of size 9 X 13 inches with non-stick cooking spray or with butter.
- Spread the melted butter all over the cake by ensuring that it evenly covers the entire surface.
- Then, put the baking dish in the oven and bake for around 30-35 minutes until the edges starts bubbling and top turns brown.
- Now, take the cake out from the oven and allow it cool completely before serving. You can also sprinkle powdered sugar on top for a decorative feel.
- It’s time to slice and serve the lemon dump cake. You can serve it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or with a dollop of whipped cream.
