- 1 box about 15.25 ounces lemon cake mix
- 1 can about 21 ounces lemon pie filling
- 1/2 cup 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
- Optional: Powdered sugar for dusting
First of all, set the temperature of the oven to 350 F (175 C). Grease a baking dish of size 9 X 13 inches with non-stick cooking spray or with butter.
Spread the melted butter all over the cake by ensuring that it evenly covers the entire surface.
Then, put the baking dish in the oven and bake for around 30-35 minutes until the edges starts bubbling and top turns brown.
Now, take the cake out from the oven and allow it cool completely before serving. You can also sprinkle powdered sugar on top for a decorative feel.
