First of all, cook the fettuccine pasta as per the instructions of the package. Then drain and keep aside, keeping around ½ cup of pasta water.
While pasta is cooking, warm a tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet or a pan over medium-high heat. Now, season the steak with salt and pepper. Put each slice of the steak in the pan and cook until as per your liking it may take around 2-3 minutes. Remove the steak from the pan and keep it aside.
In the similar pan, put the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add chopped garlic and cook it for around -1-2 minutes until smells nice.
Add the heavy cream to the pan and heat it until it begins bubbling. Continue bubbling for around 3-4 minutes, stir occasionally until it gets thickened.
Add the grated parmesan cheese to the pan while stirring. Keep stirring until the sauce becomes smooth and the cheese melts. If your sauce is too thick, you can make it thin by adding some reserved water.
Put the cooked steak and fettuccine pasta in the pan. Combine them with Alfredo sauce until everything is thoroughly coated.
Taste and adjust the seasoning as per your liking.
It’s time to serve the steak alfredo with grated parmesan cheese and fresh parsley on top.
