SteakNachos is a delightful dish that is prepared with tortilla chips covered with tasty steak, melted cheese and toppings like sour cream, tomatoes, salsa, guacamole and jalapenos.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound flank steak thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 packet of taco seasoning mix
  • 1 bag of tortilla chips
  • 2 cups shredded cheese Mexican blend or your favorite cheese
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup sliced jalapeños optional
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup guacamole
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • Fresh cilantro chopped (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Set the temperature of the oven to 375 F (190 C).
  • In a large pan, warm the olive oil over normal-high heat. Put the sliced flank steak and cook it until browned, it may take around 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Add the taco seasoning mix over the steak and stir by ensuring to coat evenly. Cook it more an additional 1-2 minutes, then remove it from the flame.
  • Now, spread the tortilla chips evenly on a large baking sheet.
  • Sprinkle the cooked steak all over the tortilla chips by following the shredded cheese on the top.
  • You can also include sliced jalapenos or diced tomatoes on the top.
  • Put the baking sheet in the oven and cook until the cheese is bubbly and melted. It may take around 5-7 minutes.
  • Once finishing, remove the nachos from the oven and add guacamole, sour cream, and salsa. You can also garnish the chopped cilantro on the top.
  • It’s time to serve the steak nachos.
