Ingredients
  

  • For the cake:
  • 1 box 18.25 ounces yellow cake mix
  • Ingredients required by the cake mix usually eggs, oil, and water
  • For the filling:
  • 1 cup marshmallow fluff
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • For the frosting optional:
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • First of all, heat the oven as per the instructions on the cake mix box.
  • Prepare the cake as per the instructions on the box. Pour the mix into two cake pans that you have floured and greased.
  • Bake the cake as per the instructions of the package, until the toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool completely.
  • While the cakes are cooling, you can prepare the filling. In a bowl, combine powdered sugar, marshmallow fluff, vanilla extract and softened butter until creamy and smooth.
  • Once they are cooled, you can add a layer on a plate and spread the filling evenly on the top.
  • Now, you need to put the second cake layer on the filling. You can also mix powdered sugar, milk and vanilla until smooth. Add the frosting on the top of cake.
  • It’s time to serve the Twinkie cake.
