Ingredients
  

  • For the Cake:
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp matcha powder

  • In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the flour, matcha powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  • In a large sized bowl, beat the softened butter until turns creamy. Slowly add the dry ingredients until thoroughly combined.
  • Add vanilla extract, eggs, and milk to the butter mixture. Mix until the batter turns smooth and just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan. Bake untl the toothpick inserted at the center comes out as clean, it may take around 20-25 minutes. Let it cool around 10 minutes, and then transfer it to the wire rack to let it cool completely.
  • In a medium-sized bowl, mix the softened butter until turns creamy. Gradually add the matcha powder and powdered sugar. Mix it well, you can add milk to adjust the consistency. Then, mix in the vanilla extract.
