Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Aunt Jemima Original Pancake & Waffle Mix
  • 1 ½ cups water or milk for richer flavor
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil or melted butter
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for added flavor

Instructions
 

  • First of all, heat the iron waffle.
  • In a large bowl, combine Aunt Jemima pancake mix, water (or milk), eggs, and vegetable oil (or melted butter). Optionally add vanilla extract. Stir until just blended; it is okay to have a few lumps.
  • Lightly coat the preheated waffle iron with cooking spray or a little bit of oil. Pour the right amount of batter into the centre of the waffle iron (about ½ to ¾ cup, depending on the size of your iron).
  • Close the waffle iron and cook according to package instructions, usually about 4-5 minutes or until the waffles are golden brown and crispy.
  • Taking care to safely remove the waffles, serve immediately, topped with maple syrup, fresh fruit, or whipped cream as desired.
