Ingredients
  

  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter cold
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • Powdered Sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, mix the sugar, warm milk, and yeast. Let it sit until gets frothy , it may take around 5-10 minutes.
  • In a big bowl, mix the salt and flour. Cut the cold butter into little pieces and add it to the flour mixture. You can either use your hand or pizza cutter to mix the butter until the mixture looks like coarse crumbs.
  • Now, just add the mixture of yeast into flour- butter mixture. Blend until combined. Put the dough on a floured surface and knead until it comes together.
  • Roll out the dough into a rectangle, make it about ΒΌ inch thick. Add the cinnamon and brown sugar, then add the melted butter on the dough. Add the cinnamon sugar evenly on the buttered dough.
  • Now you need to shape the dough long roll and then cut it into little pieces.
  • Put the muffin section in the muffin trays with its spiral side facing up. Allow them rinse until they double in size, it may take around 1-2 hours.
  • Set the temperature of the oven to 375 F(190 C) and bake the cruffin until golden brown, it may take around 15-20 minutes.
  • You can include the powdered sugar on the top right before serving.
