  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter cold
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • Powdered Sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted


  • In a small bowl, mix the sugar, warm milk, and yeast. Let itsit until gets frothy , it may take around 5-10 minutes.
  • In a big bowl, mix the salt and flour. Cut the cold butter into little pieces and add it to the flour mixture. You can either useyour hand or pizza cutter to mix the butter until the mixture looks like coarse crumbs.
  • Now, just add the mixture of yeast into flour- buttermixture. Blend until combined. Put the dough on a floured surface and kneaduntil it comes together.
  • Roll out the dough into a rectangle, make it about ¼ inchthick. Add the cinnamon and brown sugar, then add the melted butter on thedough. Add the cinnamon sugar evenly on the buttered dough.
