How to Cook Lamb Breast in Oven

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lamb breast
  • Salt and black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions
 

  • Set the temperature of the oven to 325 F (163 C).
  • Remove the excess fat from the lamb breast by keeping a thin layer for taste. You can use a knife to cut the side of lamb to cook it better. Sprinkle salt and pepper to both sides of the lamb.
  • In a little bowl, add olive oil, minced garlic, thyme, paprika, and chopped rosemary.
  • Spread the mixture of the herb all over the lamb to ensure that it is evenly coated.
  • Now, place the lamb breast with its fatty side facing up in a roasting pan or baking sheet. Cook it in the preheated oven for around 2-2.5 hours.
  • You can also pour the lamb’s juice on it in every half an hour to make it even more tasty and juicy.
  • After cooking, remove the lamb from the oven and allow it to cool for around 10-15 minutes. It ensures that the juice is spread evenly.
  • Divide the lamb into pieces against the grain. You can enjoy it with your favorite sides like couscous, roasted vegetables or a minty yogurt sauce.
