Steak fried rice is a delicious meal prepared with little steak pieces, cookedrice and vegetables like onion, bell peppers, peas, carrots all cooked togetherin a pan.

- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1/2 lb steak thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 small onion diced
- 1 bell pepper diced
- 1 carrot diced
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 2 eggs beaten
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- Salt and pepper
- Green onions chopped
- Sesame seeds
In a large pan, heat a tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the sliced steak with some salt and pepper. Cook until the steak turn brown. Now remove the steak from the skillet and keep it aside.
In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable spoon. Add the chopped garlic, and onion and cook them until become soft, it may take around 2-3 minutes.
Add some chopped carrots and bell peppers in a pan, and cookuntil the vegetables are crisp and tender, it may take around 3-4 minutes.
Put the vegetables on one side of the pan and then pour the beaten eggs into the space left. Stir the eggs until they are thoroughly cooked and then mix them with the vegetables.
Place the cooked rice into the pan. Use a spatula to break the lumps. Then, mix in the cooked steak and frozen peas.
Pour the oyster and soy sauce over the rice, and mix every thing until well blended.
You can also taste and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper.
Take it off from the heat and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
