  • 1 pound  fresh green beans halved and trimmed
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 8 slices bacon chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder


  • Set the oven at the temperature of 350 F(175 C).
  • Cook the bacon until it’s crispy in a pan over the normal heat. Place it on paper towels to absorb the excess oil , then divide it into a little piece.
  • In a little bowl, add brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder,onion powder and melted butter.
  • In a big bowl, mix the green beans with the sauce until the beans are coated.
  • Put the green beans in a line on a baking sheet.
  • Add some crushed bacon on the top and bake it until the beans are brown and soft, it may take around 30-35 minutes.
