Ingredients
  

  • 1 package puff pastry sheets thawed
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 egg beaten
  • Granulated sugar

Instructions
 

  • Set the temperature of the oven to 375 F. Put parchmentpaper or lightly grease a baking sheet to avoid sticking.
  • If the pie filling is too liquidy, it can be thickened byadding a tablespoon of cornstarch in a little pot over medium heat. Stir themixture until it thickens, then remove it from the heat and let it coolcompletely.
  • Spread out the defrosted puff pastry on a surface withlittle flour. You can use a rolling pin to make each sheet a bit bigger and smoothwithout any wrinlkles.  
  • Now, cut each pastry puff into rectangles or squares thatdepends on your preference and the size of turnover you want.
